Alan Parry is a poet and playwright from Southport, Merseyside. He is an English Literature graduate and has been writing creatively since his teens. Alan is a proud father and husband and is training to teach high school English this coming year. He cites James Joyce and Alan Bennett as his favourite writers and is particularly interested in modernism, realism and coming-of-age literature. He has previously had work published by The Literary Mark Review, Black Bough Poems, Peach Velvet Magazine and Visual Verse.
